Graphic Design and Typography
This project is a small, handcrafted book inspired by the reading “The Difference Between Being a Graphic Designer and an Artist.” The design approach embraces simplicity and clarity, with minimal colors and a bold use of orange as the main accent. Each page is square, allowing for balanced layouts where visuals and text interact in an aesthetically pleasing way. Some pages feature full-page designs, while others span entire spreads, creating a dynamic flow that guides the reader’s experience, while keeping him engaged.
A key aspect of the project involved hands -on craftsmanship: the book was printed and bound by hand, adding a personal, artisanal quality to the final product. With all content derived from the reading, the focus was on transforming the material into an engaging, visually appealing format. A thoughtfully structured table of contents allows for easy navigation, while the layout balances graphic elements with information in a way that keeps readers curious and immersed in the text. This project reflects a deep consideration for both form and function, creating a book that is both informative and visually engaging.
